These straps are made from a 50/50 braid of high tenacity polyester and vectran for strength, abrasion resistance, and comfort. These materials are used in high performance, open ocean racing so they should work for your Fuji X100. Even the split ring where it attaches is tested at 170lbs and is special ordered.
